Quick answer
What are the yearly ROC filings for a private limited company?
After the AGM, held by 30 September, file AOC-4 within 30 days and MGT-7 within 60 days, plus ADT-1, DPT-3 and MSME-1 where they apply. Most forms carry a late fee of ₹100 a day, even for companies with no business.

Common questions
My company had no business this year. Do I still need to file?
Yes. Every registered company and LLP must file annual returns and financial statements, even with no activity. Not filing leads to daily late fees and can get directors disqualified.
We have missed filings for past years. Can you help?
Yes. We prepare the pending financial statements and returns, work out the late fees, and file them in the right order.
Does a small company need a statutory audit?
Yes. Every company, including OPCs and small companies, needs a statutory audit by a practising Chartered Accountant, whatever its turnover.
Can we close a company we no longer use?
Yes, through a strike-off application once pending filings are completed. We advise whether closing or continuing is cheaper for you.
